I find the there is a price change not so much when you go but more to do with what part of the week you travel. In short if you travel at the week end. You pay through the nose. Go mid week and it's more than a third less. If you cross on the Wednesday it's £43 cross on the Friday and it £45 cross on the Saturday and £60. Now Richard the chap who is traveling with me can't go mid week so that's the Wednesday and Thursday out. But doing a Friday crossing, Will make the crossing about £20 cheaper.
