So how did Athens in May of last year go. I've had better trip's out.
The big red bus on the start of my trip
It all started at the end of May when we had our first night at the King's down camp site. The idea was stay there over night and catch the early crossing. Give us a full day riding down to Dijon, where I had a camp site booked for us to stay over night. The meeting time was round 5pm at King's Down. It's a camp site that was used by the scout's that have bunk room's that you can book. So booking two place's and arriving at the right time I go in to reception and pay for both of us. Expecting Richard any time soon. I've brought a pack up, Always a good idea as you never know when are where you will be. So parking the bike up where it can easily been seen and getting some food have a flask out. got tucked in. time rolled on. 5pm went to 6, 6 went to 7, You get the idea. I'm thinking by now I've hot another key board traveller who's not going to turn up and I'm going to be doing this on my own. Well by 10pm, that was it. I was tucked up in bed on my own thinking I just payed out £10 on a bunk bed that's not being used, and I'm doing this in my own. 11pm Richard arrives. And for the first time in the day I'm glad to see someone. So the trip is on. gets a story about all kinds of thing's. Should have realised that this was the start of thing's to come. I'm the kind of guy who is not in to the blame game. That gets you know where. Standing round trying to pin the blame on some-one. I can't see what good that is. My way of looking at it is. If there is a problem let find a way out and move on. Blaming some-one don't get the problem solved. Hi Richard say's I, You hungry? there's some food here and a hot drink. What is it? just a pack up. After a look that Sherlock Home's would of admired, He decide to have a couple of roll's and a cup of by then a cup of warm tea. This tea not too hot. And the bread is bit limp. It's free think's me. And I'm not subway. great.
The last picture of my lion held by the people
who run the camp site.
